Hidden meanings in Film noir: LUTHER: THE FALLEN SUN (2023) - If there were no wankers, there'd be less humiliating nudity...

Thank you for joining us once again on this thrilling journey of a mother in desperate need to rescue her child and a police officer ostracized by a system he dedicated himself to uphold. Enjoy reading through the life lessons on this one.

  • Disgraceful Shame
Callum gets a blackmailing call at his place of work and he runs mad with shame, anxiety, and embarrassment which ultimately leads to his fatal end. Why do we let people who are worse than us prey on our vulnerabilities. Why do we let ourselves fall victim to shame and blackmail over things that are as natural as the air we breath. The aura of shame over sexual expression is cleverly orchestrated by those who take advantage of feminine sexuality and use it as a thirst trap to enslave the meek. The meek burdened by guilt result to desperation when their pleasures are exposed.
This point is later reinforced in a later scene by Archie, who falls into a cop trap while on a mission to assassinate a target by lethal injection. When asked how bad his blackmailing situation was, he solemnly replies his captors that "It wasn't that bad".
Its important to understand that sexual pleasure is a natural part of our humanity. It is nothing to be ashamed about, especially when its done with good intentions. Don't be mislead by the sarcastic unloveableness displayed in BDSM and humiliation images on the media. Those images are a lure to corrupt, entrap, and enslave your mentality. Seek pleasurably unions honestly, and break-up amicably without hurting each others feelings, if you need to move on.
  • Why The Hate
'If you hate police, stand up'; the inmates chant at the security prison as Luther (Idris Elba) is led into the hallway. Criminals chanting hate songs at the police, like their criminal activities are the best thing to happen to humanity! In reality the negativity towards security officers is not just among convicted criminals but also quite prevalent in young adults.
After being deceived by peer pressure towards illicit affairs as en vogue, young adults develop a negative feeling towards institutions that are meant to help them thrive positively in society. Honestly, our kids are mutts! How can an institution like the police which is meant to ensure your safety and security and stand for your rights without you needing to pay directly become something that you despise.
If we honestly consider many feelings and mentalities that rule our world, we would begin to see the devastating impacts of the acceptance of the bonds of wrongness. The bonds originating from the rejection of Michael (Love) by the first betrayal (See 'Our Perspective 'Addendum sections'). We should be mindful and we should gently and tactically guide ourselves back to the right consciousness before we lose it all.

  • Self-Righteous Evil Doers
David Robey (Andy Serkis) is a serial killer on a self righteous campaign against society. Like most evil doers he seeks attention from the world and he gets it from both the police and online streamers who follow his channel. There are many people who misconstrue their egoistic pursuits as beneficial to society. Self-righteousness at the cost of another person's happiness has thrived for eons in our world. Even among the religious, many people suffer unjustly in pretence of being led to redemption. Test your self-righteous claims by determining the level of suffering you are actually causing people to go through. We made this point in the review of 'Wake Up Dead Man'.
  • Double Standards
Odette Raine (Cynthia Erivo) attempts to kidnap Luther, when her daughter, Anya (Lauryn Ajufo) is taken by David's syndicate. In another scene, she beats at Luther screaming it should have been you, when they mistake a hanging corpse for Anya's. When the cop becomes a kidnapper and wishes that a murder is someone else's not hers, then the standards of her profession are fallen. This is the height of double standards which we have mentioned in various reviews including 'Mona Lisa Smile', 'Love Lies Bleeding', 'London Boulevard', and 'Honey Don't'. Preaching against one thing and then turning around to do the opposite when the odds aren't in your favor. Be mindful of how you respond during desperate situations, keep calm and develop clarity before you act.

  • Nauseating Fantasies
A cop in the precinct throws up when he's introduced to a dark web forum where subscribers vote for how their victims should be killed. Something that's so horrific, that a cop gets nauseated is the same thing, other people are paying to watch. Our world is in trouble. More so, as the demonic continue in the sarcastic attempt at loving angelic women 'wrongly' by humiliation and BDSM, as a way to induce the truth that would set the women free. But the truly guilty is a callous person who hides and pretends to not notice what the women are going through, in fact he transfers the blame on others wrongly. Afterall, he is on a bond of wrongness. We have gone too far with these irrelevant sequences, because what is wrong is wrong, and we only need to reject wrongness for rightness to be uplifted.
People do anything for money, and they do it because you patronize whatever it is. If there were no wankers, there'd be less humiliating nudity. If there were no psycho subscribers, there'd be less motivation to develop horrific dark web content. Like we mentioned in our review of 'Rob Zombie's Halloween', be careful what you promote and give your attention to in society.
Problems leading to and originating from 'snuff' films have be described and analyzed in various reviews on this blog including 'Hope Lost', 'Maggie Black', 'League of Thrones', 'Girls on Film', 'The Vigilante', 'No Escape', and 'American Sweatshop'.

This was an interesting thriller that keeps you on edge through the length of its beautiful imagery. Hope you enjoy watching it, as much as we did. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your week.
