Hidden meanings in Film noir: REPTILE (2023) - For fuck sakes where did all this mad people come from?...

Thank you for stepping in once again to this world of psychotic manipulations in a world maddened by lies, betrayals, and deceit. In the usual frame of most thrillers this one builds up into a revelation that is quite shocking. Enjoy reading the life lessons listed in this movie, Reptile.

  • Know Your Rights
The cops, Tom (Benicio Del Toro) and Dan (Ato Essandoh) visits Sam's (Karl Glusman) house and he tells them off because they didn't have a warrant, but when they visit Eli's (Michael Pitt) house they hassle him and search him without a warrant before he finally asks if he needs a lawyer. This is a typical scenario in reality, where the meek and ignorant who have low self-esteem and lack confidence get hassled by society, while the rebellious and vulgar people who have high confidence stand-off such intimidations. Its not just about the police, its about getting treated rightly in general.
Know your rights but don't exploit it. This doesn't mean that you should challenge legal authorities, because many people have been shot wrongly from making such mistakes, but it means that you should learn to speak up confidently when its appropriate to do so. Don't allow people put you in a cocoon of manipulation that makes them victimize you because you lack the right information sources. Get out or get on the internet and search for viable solutions to your issues and you'd be amazed at how much resources and facilities are available to help you.
  • Silence of the Lambs
In Sam's apartment the cops find a painting which symbolizes the silence of the bonded enslaved angelics. The image depicted a nude and darkened angel with a tape on her mouth. Angelics bonded to silence regardless of what they've seen. Angelics enslaved by a system which portrays myopic benefits as preferable to an eternity of harmonious prosperity for the human race.
The pursuit and mental enslavement to money is one of the many reasons people fall for such enslaving systems. Like we mentioned in the movie review of 'The Rip' it is an enslaving hope of paradise that usually leaves you feeling unfulfilled. Let us hope that the reclamation and realignment of true love between the angelics and demonics would help us overcome the social injustices and deprivations we orchestrate against one another.

  • The Unlovable Bonded
Will Grady (Justin Timberlake) walks in on a couple taking sexually provocative pictures at the scene of Summer Elswick's (Matilda Lutz) murder. Its a shocking fantasy that mixes blood and gore with sexual allure. Its a psychotic tendencies among the unlovable bonded which is quite similar to snuff films. Well, the murdered person wasn't thinking about sex, I can tell you that much!.
Its is a selfish practice to place your pain in priority over others who have suffered much worse pain than you are going through. It only makes you more guilty and more susceptible to the enslaving bond of receiving more bonded pain. Its a no-brainer because it is a practice which has no direction or intention towards providing relief for its practitioners. Give me Yoghurts, Milk, Cream, Berries and Chocolates over blood anytime!!! For fuck sakes where did all this mad people come from?
  • Listen to the Downtrodden
The Tom gets clues to the truth from Eli whom he wasn't too keen on listening to. In reality, most people fail to listen to the low-life's or downtrodden because most people want to be associated with success. The opinion of the downtrodden is a haven for the unexpected because it doesn't draw much attention. It is important to listen to the downtrodden because they carry the problems of life and in their complains you'd find solutions. Their problems are opportunities to create solutions, and every civilized society thrives on the creation of solutions to common problems.
  • Unchallengable System
Tom uncovers the Chrysler which the police were searching for sitting in the garage of Captain Robert Allen (Eric Bogosian). An incriminating asset which was on red alert in the police radar hidden away in the garage of the police chief!!!
This symbolizes the unchallengeable systems of wrongness and all its symbolisms including the bond entrapment of angelic women and enslavement of angelic men. This point is re-emphasized when the police chief tells the detective to 'Give them the disk, they know everything'.
The system might know everything and control almost anything, therefore its not about trying to outsmart the system or challenge the system, its more about challenging and conquering yourself, your impulses and vain desires.
The mistake most crusaders make is thinking they are up against the system, because its a total waste of time challenging something that controls everything. The challenge is to conquer yourself!

Reptile is a standard thriller movie with a great storyline which builds up nicely to a climax. You'd definitely enjoy watching it. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your week.
