How far would a man go to fulfill his ambitions? We all hear the rumors of ritualistic sacrifices of secret societies that nurture billionaires and successful politicians and we all look the other way because there are no missing babies or persons in our family or vicinity.
The unpalatable consequences of unhealthy ambitions are the main theme behind this thrilling horror miniseries. It is definitely binge worthy and we have compiled some thought provoking messages and social inferences for you to digest. Thank you and have a good read.
- An Excuse For Suffering
Eliza Usher (Annabeth Gish) gave religious excuses for her children's sufferings in the first episode. She likened their sufferings to the kisses of Jesus.
We all know the favourite Christian verse; John 3:16. Which talks about believing in Jesus to avoid perishing. However, this scripture is often misdirected and misunderstood. Jesus is the first born son from God, a physical vessel of archangelic Michael. Therefore, he embodies the father and carries the message of our divine programming to love and grow in harmony.
The question is; do we believe in his message or the rejection of his message? The message of Jesus is love, the rejection of Jesus is denial and crucifixion. Love would prosper us, but denial and violence would make us perish. Let our veneration of the divine be a focus on love not denial.
- Not a Solution
Leo Usher is shown cheating on his gay spouse, Julius (Daniel Jun) with a hottie.
It is a lesson for those who think being jilted or broken hearted by the opposite sex is an excuse to become gay. Being gay isn't a cure to heartbreak or untrustworthiness. Being gay isn't a solution to the problem of love. To find true love, first you need to find yourself. When you understand who you are, you would see who your spouse should be.
- The Suckers
Prospero Usher (Sauriyan Sapkota) gives a speech to Roderick (Bruce Greenwood) and Madeline (Mary Mcdonnell) about opening an exclusive club. He makes a claim that the place would be were 'the movie starlet everyone worships would be giving head to the real VIPs in the corner'.
Well, I guess the worshipping fans are the suckers for love. Turning up at every event shouting their hearts out. Following, liking, and commenting on every post on social media. Sometimes it really feels like love and it is love. Till it gets soiled by one exposed scandal or one too many raunchy sex scenes.
It is love because love is not complicated. Love is just a deep sense of appreciation for someone. But the system exploits that love and turns it into an enslaving entrapment with the unwillingly women as bait for the suckers.
I enjoy being a sucker, because they fill a painful void in my heart. They've worked to deserve the love, and it doesn't really matter what the 'privileged' do in secret, or does it?
- How Much?
The state lawyer, Auguste (Carl Lumbly), questions Roderick's greed and ambitions. He questions the unethical marketing of addictive drugs by Roderick's company. 'How much money would make you say; We did it', He asks Roderick.
It is never enough. It is never really enough. The pursuit of vanity creates a void that money can't fill. It only builds more greed. This greedy pursuit of vanity becomes a real cause for concern when such men become ritualistic or when they exploit women to fill their void. From threesomes, they would progress to gangbangs, then orgies, then evil pain and torture dungeons, and even snuff films. They become a hazard to humanity as they seek to cure pain with more pain.
Let us understand that the void in us can only be filled by realigning ourselves to the divine DNA programming and true love. We mentioned this in previous reviews including 'The Electric State', 'Exterritorial', 'Mortdecai', and 'Enola Holmes'. Our eBooks provide an explanation of the divine DNA programming of man.
- Toxic Mentality
It is one allegation after the other for the Roderick's enterprises, with accusations of environmental degradation from harmful waste.
In reality, we generally have a toxic mentality towards the environment. Our business and our way of life often go against sustainable practices. It is thus, quite evident that man hasn't reached the level of understanding required to rule the cosmos.
Like we mentioned in our eBooks; Our planet is a source code and a base to the other planets but the bonds of wrongness under which our society is built and promoted has derailed and misdirected us into harmful ways. Everything has something wrong with it. Even Mathematics is wrong because 1/2 divided by 1/2 cannot be equal to a greater number, 1.
This is a call to increased focus on the development of sustainable practices and ecological welfare. Going forward, and in reference to the next stages of human development. Our development of habitats on the surface of the ocean and in space need to be highly sustainable. We need to develop a highly ethical mentality focused on sustainable development.
This miniseries keeps you glued from the first to the last episode as heart churning secrets are revealed with well synchronized high quality imagery. It is a five star horror thriller.
