Kraven is a fictional comic character based on superhuman abilities and heroic figures. However, there's always a lesson or two to learn from every story. In our usual fashion, we present the subliminal messages and other social inferences we can learn from this action packed fantasy.
- Reality in Myths
'There's an ounce of truth in every myth', Kraven (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) says to Chorney (Yuri Kolokolnikov) before assassinating the crime boss in the prison.
In the real world, Legends, myths, and stories in traditional culture have existed long before religion. We need to understand when the things we term as fables or unrealistic have been corrupted either intentionally or unintentionally due to oral transfer. For example, stories like Jesus walking on water, Noah and the Ark, Arhuan the great of benin kingdom jumping into water, mermaids and sirens, and the lost city of Atlantis are all symbolic of man's supposed ability to live effectively and efficiently on the surface of water.
From my spiritual revelations and inspirations, man should by now, have at least three eco-cities the size of Toronto on the surface of the ocean in the models of reversed skyscrapers floating like Ice bergs in the middle of the ocean. But, excluding water, there are various other symbolisms in folklore that you can find in our free eBook titled the 'Twelve days of Christmas'.
- Mismanagement
The movie also presents the problem of poaching, when young Kraven attacks a group of poachers harvesting trunks and horns from animals, leaving the corpses.
This is symbolic of our attitude of mismanagement and misuse of natural resources for personal gain. Like we mentioned in the movies '72 Hours' and 'In the Heart of the Sea', poaching is a symbol of man's greed and inability to maintain our planet's ecosystem. Our basic problem is that we are not looking in the right direction, because almost everyone wants a bit of the apple pie regardless of who's guts are cut. Don't be among that bunch! Life is beautiful in places we least expect and if we can overcome the wrongs and disrespect of one another, then we would flourish and prosper.
- Bio-enhancement
Kraven and Rhino (Alessandro Nivola) are bio enhanced beings with superhuman abilities.
Although, the movie is a fictional fantasy, it does bring to mind the possibilities of science and medicine. It is a two way street with this one though, because on one hand there is the supernatural abilities of the Gods of the beginning which were expected to be trans mutated into physical human progress. Just like we described in the movie review of 'Spiderhead'. On the other hand, there is the scientific prospect of developing bio enhancing drugs that not only repair but improve human senses and abilities.
In this regard, we must apply caution because as we develop our abilities with improvements in sciences, we mustn't lose 'the image and likeness of God'. We can have improvements in our senses and mobility, but the deviation to cyborgs or bionic integration is more likely an indication that we are still at war with ourselves. Who knows, maybe one day we can make a limb grow back just like lizards regrow a tail.
- Question Your Loyalty
As Rhino seeks to take over Chorney's operations, a prospective partner kills his comrade to seal the spot. It is a symbolic question on what true loyalty is.
Is loyalty about taking oaths and signing physical or spiritual pacts? No, because many people have been betrayed by their own fraternity members seeking more benefits or gains.
Is loyalty about having fun together or engaging in group orgies? No, because many people have been betrayed during fun activities. Some have been given a bride they detested because of the degrading obscenities they all performed together. Some have been poisoned having fun. Some have been purposely instigated to violence and jailed while having fun.
True loyalty, can thus only be found in a goal you're certain to benefit from regardless of its outcome. Such a goal can be found in an unselfish dedication to a better world. If you contribute your efforts towards a better world, you would certainly benefit in one way or the other. But you must be able to see the big picture of things, especially in regards to our reincarnating and multiplying abilities. In this perspective, you can give an improvement idea freely that you don't benefit from financially, but you could be reincarnated to own the entire company as an inheritance in a different life time. But even if you never benefit directly, the improvements your idea gives to the world would still have an impact on the general standard of living. Please don't mistake this for an acceptance to always be cheated because there are some ideas that you can reasonably pursue.
- Be Your Own Judge
Dmitri (Fred Hechinger) is bullied by his father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe) for being weak, which makes Dmitri loathe himself. But otherwise, he's doing pretty well with his restaurant management and singing.
Based on our divine DNA programming and the seeding of the territories around the world by the original Queen mothers, like we explained in our eBooks, every Queen Mother had innate traits and abilities. If we can learn to live and grow together as one united family in true love without discrimination and cheating ourselves out of the good things of life. We would grow and prosper beyond our current reasoning. Not everyone is a fighter, or a singer, or a professor. Some could be nurses or engineers. Everyone has a different ability and like we reviewed in the movie, 'Man On Fire', it's a wrong perspective when we judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree.
Kraven is an interesting movie with incredible stunts and scenery. It was a really good watch.
Thank you for reading through and enjoy the rest of your day.
