- Destruction of Love
11 year old Chuck (Michael Cera) succeeds in convincing his little girlfriend to lick his strawberry lolipop (cock) for a price of $1. This scene symbolized the destruction of love by the commoditization of women. This point is driven home in the closing scenes where Patricia (Julia Roberts) lays dying from poison with a bold inscription 'NO LOVE'. It also shows the under age point in life where most women fall to the trick that makes them bonded to the system of wrongness, because such girls will continue to accept money in return for sex, become entrapped and commoditized by the system. Meanwhile, true lovers would find it difficult to understand that women are so easily sold among their friends. The systems and techniques for the destruction of love to prevent Michaelean's (See Our perspective ) from being free from the demonic bonds of enslavement have been discussed in previous movie reviews including Confessions of a Child of the Century, Chantal, Dancing at the Blue Iguana, Frankie & Alice, Paprika, and Tulip Fever.
- Unemployment
2,000 people applying for 5 management trainee positions is a scene that throws light on the economic problem of unemployment. Unemployment is a direct consequence of the social imbalance arising from the destruction of love. The consequential deprivation of good willing men creates vacuums in society that lead to shortages and scarcity. Furthermore, the shortages are purposely created to sustain enslaving practices. The development of our world is stifled by leaders who think they achieve better by enslaving the angelic side of life, but they don't. Everyone loses out in the end, everyone.
- Men Want Fun Too
Chuck (Sam Rockwell) has a mental breakdown when his girlfriend tells him she's pregnant. In reality, this is a controversial issue because there are different perspectives to it. At a young age and at the height of their sexual pleasures, most women would reject boring lovers under the claim that 'girls just want to have fun', but at a mature age when they fall out of favor with what has been tickling their fancy, they develop a preference for a potential nest. Well, what is good for the gander is equally good for the goose, because men want to have fun too. There are men who become aware of systemic enslavement in their mid thirties, and finally understand that the girls they were falling in love with, were being passed around for sale. Such men find it very irritating when a one-off or a hope for sexual pleasure leads to pregnancy. Before you try that life-hook technique try to compensate a man and at least fulfill their sexual fantasy for a while, because no one deserves to be cheated out of his natural rights to love.
- Ideas and Power
Chuck is recruited by Jim (George Clooney) into a secret service. Afterwards, Chuck is contacted by Larry Goldberg to resume his show which had earlier been rejected and it becomes a hit. Chuck's recruitment and training symbolizes his acceptance of the systems of enslavement. These sequences symbolize the importance of having power to defend an idea or venture, rather than the importance or benefit of the idea or venture. In reality, many people who start innovative ventures are soon pushed out or drowned by the system because they don't have power to defend it. This emphasis on power is one of the major causes of imbalance in our world, because our world was initially designed to accommodate the powerless. It buttresses the previous point about social imbalance which causes unemployment.
- Time Changes Everything
Sexual conversations on Chuck's live show stirs up controversy and he is told by the station managers to censor it. In reality, back in the days sexualized contents and nudity where like a taboo, but these days it is the norm. The naked dress is a symbol of success in Hollywood and there are even phone-in nude models on TV these days. Is it freedom, or are our women becoming more entrapped and enslaved. The intensity of humiliating sequences for 'supposed' atonement has increased. The punishment of 'Walk of Shame' has become the fashion fantasy of 'naked dress'. There are many other twisted sexual fantasies like public whipping or dog walking that modern women endure with a smile on their faces because they are bonded to not complain about it. These societal ills portrayed as fantasy and used as a yardstick for success has a telling effect on the development of our world. Not only does it affect our general mentality towards the opposite gender, it also affects how we relate to each other and the general development of our world. It symbolizes a deep betrayal of trust and emotional depravity among humans. More importantly, the bonds are worsened by complains and through each generation, which means the worse is yet to come. It is bad news for the beautiful ones who are not yet born. Stop it now!!!
