Don't we owe our females a bit more respect and autonomy in decision making, especially in decisions related to our social processes?
- Know When To Delegate
Ben (Laurence Rupp) initially threatens to suspend Julika (Seyneb Saleh) for operating outside standard procedures. However, he finally accepts the importance of her investigative methods and grants her permission to continue.
In reality, especially in management cycles, it is important to know that the team extends your abilities. Therefore, make use of your team members abilities within the budgeted resources without being too constricting or overbearing on employees. It is usually a good way to get more things done, especially if your employees are creative and competent.
- No Romantic Work
Julika watches her lesbian lover, Alice (Sina Martens) allow their suspect get away. She is later brought to her senses in the office with some scolding from Ben.
Work and romance aren't a good pair. Romance is usually relaxing and you are more likely to let your guard down. If you mix romance with work, your decisions would be clouded and you would do things you are not supposed to do.
Sorry to burst your bubble, I know you've been eyeing that sexy looking colleague in your department (lol). Go for it! There are many instances were its a good match. Like we reviewed in the movies The Platform and The Six Triple Eight, there are always exceptions in life to symbolize that there is nothing special about it.
