The opening scenes of this movie are a warfront with the usual carnage which climaxes with an exploding bridge. War burns bridges! That's what we can infer from these scenes.
Our reality and our human race journey relies very much on our ability to connect. Much like Lewis structures depicting the connections between atoms to form molecules.
We should be building more connections that would eventually extend to interplanetary connections. We are much stronger together, just like it is symbolized in the animation series titled 'Voltron, Defender of the Universe'.
- Dear Job Seekers
Jaqueline (Emma Mackey) recommends Simon (Armie Hammer) for the job of an estate manager to her friend, Linnet (Gal Gadot). The thanks she requires from Simon is a symbolic dance with Linnet (*Wink**).
This scene is symbolic of the power of social cycles over credentials. It reminds us that most decisions and opportunities are lost or won in social circles.
- The Opportunist
Jaqueline shares her pleasures with Linnet and then introduces Simon to her. Linnet is single, rich, and powerful, while Simon is an opportunist climbing social circles. Well, you can rightly say Jaqueline had it coming, because Linnet ends up coveting Simon to her bosom.
In reality, it is important to apply caution in your conversations because most people's heart are seated with jealousy and a covetous crave.
- Lose What You Lose
Jacqueline wallows in lament and self-pity like an enchanted lover jilted on her wedding day. Well, love is still the strongest feeling in the world.
It's easier said than done, but your life would be much better if you let go of things you lose. Lots of people hold on to lost love even to the extent of indulging in drug addictions, mental health admissions, and bankruptcy from a lack luster approach to life. These kind of reactions only create more losses and hinders you from attaining your potentials. Sometimes the people who break your heart are purposely sent to do so, because your potentials were a threat to certain people. So keep your chin up, because you're worth more than you think.
- A Long Struggle
Jacqueline mentions to Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) that the wives of dead Pharaohs used to be buried alive along with the Pharaoh.
If you look back on human history, including the dark ages, you would be shocked at all the terrible things women have been put through. Our blog is heavily centered on feminism and female emancipation and we thank those who contribute efforts towards lifting women in our world.
We owe women a lot, for all the discrimination, subjectification, and oppression that men have put them through. Its all unfair really, when you consider the importance of the woman being a weaker vessel for the sake of procreation.
- The Bait
Jacqueline presents her love, Simon, to Linnet. Linnet is overcome by passion and carelessly falls in love and covets Simon to herself. Her fate was sealed!
In reality, be careful how you get attracted to, and covet what belongs to others because sometimes they could be traps or baits used to reel you in. A lot of people have fallen for the opportunistic trap that appears to be almost a free meal only to end up losing much more than they bargained for.
