- The Imbalance
The mother (Jennifer Lopez) gets nauseated and pukes at the sight of trafficked children hidden in a shipping container under inhumane conditions.
This scene is a reference to the imbalance in society and the problems of trafficking and illegal migration in our world. We need to be more accountable and responsible towards our own selves because the world is made up of various versions of us in different forms and races. Leaders need to overcome an insatiable greed and work more to elevate the standard of living of their own people. Everyone deserves to live with dignity, so let us do away with inhumane and victimizing practices.
- Product of Violence
The mother tells her daughter, Zoe, that; 'there is nothing you eat that isn't a product of violence'.
She mentions this to Zoe because Zoe is distraught at her shooting of a deer for meat and refuses to eat the supper. The mother goes further to give examples of food products backed up by violence. Her examples included civil war, violent land tussles, and cruel farming practices.
This is quite shocking because the implications are dire. It means that everyone who eats, supports the wrongs in one way or the other. It means that there is much more work to be done in our world than just apologies. It means that humanity has been completely derailed and entrapped by wrongness and we are definitely heading towards destruction because there is no one free of the acceptance of wrongs.
Therefore, all hands must be on deck towards reconciliation and realignment of our purpose with our true DNA programming. The so-called fires of entrapment women fight with nudity is a consequence of wrongness, and their nudity is a further contribution to the wrongness of things. Like a failed program we are under siege by a virus which corrupts and can potential destroy us completely, if not checkmated. Just like we mentioned in our review of 'Wednesday', even if there are no apparent checkmates because no one can do anything about it, it will only be ultimately checkmated by time. Time checkmate is the hazard we should all avoid, because correcting things is a solution for everyone, but time can end it all.
- Importance of Basic Skills
The mother teaches Zoe to drive and shoot at the early age of 12. Although she is being paranoid due to their circumstances, it turns out to be life saving in the final scenes of the movie.
These scenes help symbolize the importance of basic survival skills like driving, swimming, and cycling, just like we mentioned in reviews of 'Thrash' and 'Enola Holmes'. Basic skills are a necessity for the sustenance of our world and technology.
To put this in better perspective, there are many computer scientist who don't know how rubber for making keyboards is sourced from trees, and there are many automotive designers who wouldn't know too. In the event of a restart of our world, such rich and intelligent people may be well positioned to survive but they would lack the basic knowledge to rebuild civilized living without first returning to a primitive state of 'farming with their bare hands'. Let us prevent such hazards totally, by re-balancing our world and choosing rightness.
- Love Can Hurt
Zoe throws caution to the wind while playing with cute but wild wolf cubs, and she gets bitten.
It is a reference to the fact that love can hurt if you neglect caution. Like an old saying or proverb; 'Don't be too sweet or sugary, because people would lick all of you'. This point about being too trusting in love has also been raised in our review of 'Damsel', 'Apex', and 'Novocaine'.
- Technology and DNA codes
The snow mobiles used in this movie are awesome machines that move easily through the snow covered forest. This served as an important reminder that technology can be adapted to different environments.
As we advocate the realignment of humanity with the right divine DNA programming, we claim that most planets, if not all, are habitable if only we can unlock the right code and technology.
