Hidden meanings in Film noir: A HOUSE OF DYNAMITE (2025) - How we killed God...

Thank you for joining us once again on this thrilling journey of self assessment, hope, and reconciliation. This movie much like Morgan Freeman's Sum of All Fears, reminds us that we might be afraid of the doomsday clock but we are actually responsible for how the hands turn. A thrilling movie reminding us once again of how the things we hold dear and rely on can suddenly fall apart.

  • Apocalyptic Risk
An unidentified inbound missile causes commotion at the defence command centre. All efforts to intercept and terminate the threat proof abortive. It is a nuclear threat and an apocalyptic risk if full retaliatory measures are activated.
This is our current reality. The realization that our current capabilities for war shows that we are quite capable of completing the turning of the hands in our doomsday clock, and sending our world back into the stone age.
It is a stark reference to the fact that the human mindset has grown wrongly, as we have made more technological advancements in the direction of war than in any other facets of life. We need to reassess our priorities because war is really just us killing ourselves. We explained this concept in the review of 'Golden Kamuy' and our human journey of reincarnation and multiplication is explained in our eBooks.
  • Who Deserves to Live
Arguments and complaints spill out when Cathy Rogers (Moses Ingram) is called up and mentions that she is a designated evacuee, which means she is chosen to survive the eventuality of an attack. It is a mistake mentioning such special privileges in such situations, but hopefully our world would never come to that.
Who gets to live and more importantly who gets to decide who lives in the eventuality of such events? Well, if we consider that our world was once technologically advanced like the Star Wars era before falling to shits like the Mad Max era, where all production facilities had been bombed and makeshift technology was in place, then we would understand the importance of people with foundational understanding.
In that frame of mind we would see that blue color workers who have the intelligence of creating metal or plastic are more important than technological or computer scientist who wouldn't understand how to create basic materials. Foundational knowledge should take priority in apocalyptic events. In fact the creation process of basic materials like metal, glass, paper, Ink, and plastic should be like an easy compulsory course at early education stages before splitting students into science, social science, and arts.

  • Mr. President!!!
The stakes are high as the highest military commands await confirmation on a cause of action from the president (Idris Elba), while the ill-fated president was just having a good time with Angel Reese (Angel Reese, fat ass cutie pie lol), and the kids on a basket ball court.
To be honest, sometimes I get infuriated when the political campaigns start back in my home country. Annoyed at the empty promises of the pot-bellied politicians making claims of providing 24 hours light, good roads, improved transportation, finance, and jobs. I used to tell myself, that if I ever was on a political debate for a presidential run, each answer to my question would be 'I will tell the minister of the industry'. Yes, I would tell the minister of electricity to please provide 24 hours light, I would tell the economy minister that the people need jobs. They are the experts, I am just the face of the nation.
In this regard, although the president has security advisors, he's certainly not the best person to determine the cause of action but he must be well informed and his support must be solicited. Its a bit of a dilemma that's exploitable especially if we have power hungry people in places of authority, but its worth a point.
  • Family is Everything
Top command center officials start calling their families and asking them to head out of the danger zone in a desperate attempt to keep them safe.
It all calls to mind the importance of family. It is not the wealth you have accumulated, the dark pleasures in your heart, or your assets that trouble you at the last hour. It is the hope of love in someone you love that you think about. Someone to sustain your lifetime in their hearts. Love is still the strongest feeling in the world and we should do well to honor it.

  • Beyond Childish Excitement
At the civil war parade display, Anna Parks' (Greta Lee) child exclaims this is 'Awesome', and she cautiously responds that '50,000 people dead in three days, isn't an awesome event'.
In reality, most of us have a childish excitement towards war, except those who have experienced its horrors first hand. Maybe it's the excitement and heroics displayed in action movies or stories that influences us. However, it is not the soldiers who are heroes of war, it is the unarmed mothers stuck in war fronts running in search of food, water, or shelter with a kid strapped to their backs and a crying toddler who needs to be lift now and again to increase the pace. Yet, they still get raped and they don't care how many cocks ravage them as long as the children are safe. War is terrible and we need to overcome the primitiveness of it. We mentioned the carnage and wastage of war in the movie reviews of Golden Kamuy, The Vigilante, The King, and Dune Two
  • The Messengers
POTUS quotes a message from a podcast; "It's like we all built a house filled with dynamite, making all these bombs and all these plans, and the walls are just ready to blow but we kept on living in it"...
In reality, have you ever listened to a podcast or speech and it hit you so hard that it changed your life or perspective? When you hear messages that resonates deep within your core and pushes you to be a better person, then you have heard God speak, because God is the breath of life and he inhabits everyone.
Our problem is that we started one or two religions and then we killed God or told him to shut up because we had heard enough messages.
We have been so ignorant because the spirit of God has always been, is, and always will be. Always guiding, ever gently encouraging us in the right path for our own good.

God rarely punishes us, but he often turns away in disappointment and then everything falls apart because we are still too small compared to the forces of nature or even the force of our own emotion that pushes us to obscene things like war. We must respect the divine and natural order of things, just like we previously mentioned in movie reviews of Thrash and Twister. Let us reconcile ourselves with the acceptance of love and drawing insights and guidance from the framework of the bonds of crossmatching true love as explained in our eBook titled 'To Right A Wrong'.

This movie is an awesome five star thriller that feels like an action movie and keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very climatic end. Hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did. Thank you for reading and enjoy the rest of your week. Stay blessed and thankful.
