Extreme road rage, total carnage, and madness are the hallmarks of this Hollywood block buster. Thank you and welcome to another edition of your favorite movie review blog, as we uncannily reveal social inferences from movies you never thought had more meaning. Enjoy reading.
- The World We Create
As the world forms around us, how do we brave its cruelty? The narrator asks in the opening scenes of this movie, however from our perspective, we are one with the cosmos. Therefore, the world forming around us, is a reflection of what we promote and accept. Man's inhumanity to man, becomes the uncontrollable wrath of mother nature. We have to reexamine our policies, societies, laws, and perceptions. We have to consciously build a balanced cosmos because we are the building blocks of life. As we mentioned in the review of
'The Dry', like atoms we must first connect ourselves before connecting the larger cosmic planes.
- Beware The Empty Promise
Dementus (Chris Hemsworth), who is a stone cold killer and an oppressor, lays siege on the mountain citadel of Immortan Joe (Lachy Hulme). He makes a speech asking Immortan's followers to surrender and hand over the citadel's leaders under a promise of abundance, food, water, and double portions for everyone. He who is coming from scorching emptiness, in search of supplies, promises supplies to people living in a citadel. In reality, many people fall for empty promises from charismatic sounding leaders. Well, empty vessels make the loudest noise. So beware the promise without evidence, and don't be blinded by charades.
- Pride Goeth Before A Fall
Dementus is eventually humbled by the loyalty of Immortan Joe's warriors as they make sacrificial suicidal bombing maneuvers on his biker warriors. Dementus has to flee after making such a proud boast and request for surrender. Pride goeth before a fall, for he that is down need fear no fall. Like Sun Tzu states in the art of war; If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. Its the same in marketing and business strategy, where its important to do a competitive analysis. It is important to know what you are up against. Even in victory, it is also important to respect the enemy. Don't be boastful in life, because everything you win costs something to someone. Show respect.
- Child Abductions
Young Furiosa's (Alyla Browne) sojourn in the barren lands in the midst of carnage, war, and cannibalism, highlights the troubling problems of child abductions and the dangers and horrors abducted children suffer in the hands of kidnappers. This problem is an indication of the responsibility of everyone towards the development of a better and stable world. We have to create a world with more responsibility towards the next generation. After all, its us who are still reincarnating. How do we stop such ills? How do we civilize mankind and keep children safe? I wish I had the answer. Many people would be infuriated if we spoke against paying for sex, but we have elaborated the dangers and the problems associated with it in various reviews including 'Angels of the Sun', 'Girls for Sale', 'The Count of Monte-Cristo', and 'The Vigilante'.
- Connect the Dots
If you have been following our analysis of mankind falling back to earth from Star wars because we had grown wrongly, leading to disbalance symbolized in movies like Total Recall and other Sci-fi movies featuring anomalies that deviated from the image and likeness of God, and you merge it with Mad Max and Furiosa, then you'd understand the return to primitiveness. This is the reason while modern day humans, think the early arrivals from the heavens were Annunakis. No, they were from the fallen space ships with depleted resources. They had traces of advanced technology but no source to replenish the resources. The civilization including its production plants and refineries had been strategically eliminated by war. Just like we mentioned in the review of 'Dune Two', war begets more war. Therefore, the sequences of war our world is under is a sequence to total destruction, and more painfully, it is all orchestrated because of the cheating of love.
The organic (Angelic) made useless by the fighting and oppression sponsored by the Scientific (Demonic). The problem of enslaving the angelic children under the bonds of 1st. You notice in Furiosa, a technological advancement which was remnants of a failed civilization, yet in their failure they still struggle and fight rather than being remorseful and trying to rebuild in peace.
My people suffer for lack of understanding...
