Sex, Wealth, Power, Arsehole... In the narrator's words we begin this issue as we delve into Sacha Baron Cohen's latest comedic view on social issues affecting the lives of the great Sapiens.
Thank you for joining us once again and enjoy reading the life lessons reviewed below.
- Illegal Gets It?
The narrator claims that 'in this world it's often the very worse people who seem to have it all'. The scene focuses on the affluence and playboy lifestyle of Fred Powell (Charles Dance).
Its quite ironic, isn't it? In a world that needs so much love the very worse people prosper immensely. Its quite similar to what we mentioned in the review of the movie 'The Rip'. To fix our world we need to learn to appreciate the just. Women need to stand up properly and in unity for the rights of men who don't accept the system of wrongness, because only the wrong prospers and is promoted from it. Men who don't accept it, won't promote wrongness and if they knew about it, they'd be more inclined to accept it, because no one can truly bear being cheated out of love.
- Gender Discrimination
The entire movie is a satirical take on gender discrimination in the work place. It showcases a misogynistic atmosphere in the early scenes of the movie and attempts to help the viewer understand the pains of the female gender, especially in situations most of us have come to see as normal. Despite its humorous approach, the movie gives the viewer something really serious to think about.
Well, in reality the fault also lies with women, because the things they accept to do for the system is at the very least quite degrading. If it is the norm for women to dance naked when men are initiated to manhood, and then be shared or passed around without a choice, then the classic male's view on women becomes subjective.
The humiliation of women in mock acceptance or appreciation of their beauty, is historically the norm in every culture, tradition, and society, and quite sadly it carries on to this very day in various and fancifully presented modern formats. But behind all this charade lies the bitter truth of lovers betrayed and wrongly condemned. Lovers who by bonds are incapable of partaking of the 'so-called' sharing of love. Thus, the cheating and death of love is celebrated like the best thing that happened to humanity, and then we complain because we are looking for someone to blame but ourselves.
- A Solid Case
Damian's (Sacha Baron Cohen) accident sends him into an alternate reality were the world is run by women. From nude male models, female sports celebrities, female dominated execs, flirting female cabbies, and loud farting wives. Its a solid case for an acceptable guilt trip to the ones who call themselves 'MEN'.
It is a humorous but effective change in perspective. A vivid show of what it feels like being a woman in a world were womanhood is quite frankly ridiculed. Well, hopefully it is one of the many catalyst for a subtle change in mentality. However it is important to note that changes can feel weird because everyone is so used to things being the way they are, but it is usually for the better. Moreover, we have nothing to lose, to be honest. Nothing to lose from respecting our women and acknowledging the rights of lovers including the weak.
- The Drunken Truth
Pigeon Man (Richard E. Grant) claims that he is called a lunatic because he speaks the truth. Isn't he right, that the truth seems to creep in low places, why the lies seat on high tables?
Even in medieval times, the local drunks or poets who were termed 'mad', were known to speak the truth against the high powers but they were not to be taken seriously. Some religious books, also showcase the destitute nature of the prophets who bring the truth and warnings from God.
That is the stark reality of our humanity. People who should be respected and adored for their valuable contribution to assisting a better world are ridiculed and neglected in favor of the very people who's lies make the world a place of suffering.
Oh, the wrongs we have accepted is heartbreaking. Like we mentioned in the movie review of 'Reptile', sometimes the most important words come from unexpected places. The downtrodden and places you'd look down on, often carry insights that are purposely hidden from people like you.
- Ugly Poverty
Glenda Cartwright's (Kathryn Hunter) transformation from a cleaner to the Chair of the Atlas Board shows that everyone is truly beautiful. Everyone is inherently beautiful in their own way but poverty makes you ugly. Poverty destroys your confidence and makes you feel unworthy of what should truly be yours.
Furthermore, in acknowledgement of the 13 DNA strands of origin (See eBooks), we are all really not so different from each other. Its just different circumstances that makes us look the way we do. Therefore, please show some respect to the low-life, because you are likely one of the reasons behind their problems.
- Happiness Is Good Currency
Damian's move for acceptance in the alternate world is orchestrated through socializing, partying, and sexual pleasure. It almost earns him the right to be CEO. These sequences are a reflection of our reality, because even in professional circles, we all just want to be happy.
We give priority to people who can help us be happy. It is also a statement and testament to an underlying sadness hidden deep within all of us. A testament to the guilt we carry for the wrongs we have accepted in return for financial gains. Therefore, we earnestly seek ways to flee these sad feelings and to reject the guilt. We want to dance and party, because we looked around and no one really deserved what they were benefiting.
To be honest we are blind, because a world moving in the right way is more joyful, including dancing, partying, and sexual pleasure. We tend to get the misconception that being right means God's way by religious principles, but there is a solid reason why intellect often seems to conflict with religion.
- The Sex Gateway
Damain gains reasonable ground on making CEO, but after a raunchy round of sex with Alex Fox (Rosamund Pike), a call comes in declaring Alex as CEO. Obviously, she won the sex battle!
In reality, the roles would have been reversed. As women get slaughtered left, right, and center by the great phallus, they experience a subsequent fall in social standings as their aura and karmic points are invaded and dominated by toxic misogynist male sexuality.
It is even worse for the ignorant or sleeping angelic males who lose out on women they pursue without success and get heartbroken because they haven't accepted the systems of wrongness, entrapment, and enslavement.
To such men, it is like a double demotion because they are made lesser than the women who have already been made lesser by misogynist males. To such men solitude becomes a much welcomed reenergizing and reinvigorating experience. Such men also often seek solace in gay relationships. It all contributes to the disbalance of things and the wrong flow in our social programming. This effect of our misdirection is felt by planetary bodies but you might have to read our eBooks and previous reviews to gain more understanding.
We end our review with a quote from Alex's Guinness campaign; "Love takes time but it's worth it".
Yea, we sure hope its worth it! Thank you for taking the time to read and enjoy the rest of your week.
