Thank you for joining us once again on this week's issue of your favorite movie review blog. This week's movie is a weird futuristic animation slash real character movie in the likes of Sin City. This dramatic movie showcases Hollywood superstars and has lots of symbolic meanings. It throws light on the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of seeking solutions from the right sources. Enjoy the life lessons listed on this one.

  • The Itchy Bond
Freck (Rory Cochrane) is shown in a state of apparent despair for unexplainable itchiness. While he imagines bugs and itching, his state is symbolic of the bonds of entrapment which are like an irritating manifestation of itching, rash, or floggings on the skin. In confusion, he struggles to fight back at the bonds of entrapment, but they appear to become worse. In reality, the bonds of entrapment are a strange phenomenon which troubles almost everyone. Many people find it confusing when they first become victims of its use by entrappers. Many people have different methods for overcoming its problems. Some go for medical care, some train harder, some go nude, while others strip tease or do pole dancing, some eat or refrain from eating certain foods. Some think its a gluten allergy, others think its caused by addictive substances like coffee, tobacco, or opium.
The bonds are supernaturally manifested when victims succumb or fall for the temptations of wrongness. Like most supernatural manifestations or natural glitches, sometimes ignoring it by doing nothing about it also helps bring relief. It is however, quite clear that the system misuses this common problem as a means of enslavement or promoting wrongness. Do what works for you, but don't turn it into a battle, don't take things too far when trying to overcome such problems. You can also find some insights on overcoming strange problems in our eBooks.
  • The Wrong Advisor
I can show you how to sleep with her for less than $3', James Barris (Robert Downey Jr.) says to Freck. Freck, who is seeking solutions to his hallucinations of itching is wrongly advised to commit more wrongness that leads to being bonded in the first place. The bonds which are a manifestation of punishment or torments due to the acceptance of wrongness would only get worse by accepting more wrongness.
In this perceptive, James plays the role of an enslaving system, while Freck is the victim, and the idea behind being advised to partake of the commoditization of love would worsen his level of wrongness and entrap him even further. The commoditization of love as a method for cheating true lovers is discussed in the review of Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
If you consider our previously stated demonic tenets that bind VICE systems, especially the tenet that 'the demonic do not do anything good for the angelic' then you would understand the futility of Freck seeking solutions to his itchy bond problem from James. The wrong advice from a wrong advisor is like digging a ditch to fill a hole. The demonic tenets that bind VICE systems are reviewed in several issues including Tokyo Decadence, All Things Fair, 7th Secret, Carga, and Madrid 1987.
This leaves several questions duo, for example, 'Who permitted the entrappers to play God?' 'Are the entrappers also entrapped by the problem and only manipulate others as they also seek a solution?'.

  • Addictive Nudity
Freck looks at the waitress at the bar talking about the menu, but his mind starts stripping her naked revealing quite luscious boobs. His lustfulness entraps him to James even more, because James seems to know all about who the women sleep with, and how they accept to sleep with them. Freck's desire for a woman is cleverly converted into drug abuse by James.
An unsatisfied desire converted into an insatiable addiction to harmful substances is a common ploy to subdue and relegate the innocents in modern society. Beware of drugs, not only do they ruin you, they are also an effective method for sustaining your cheating and enslavement to a system which thrives on wickedness and deprivation.
Pornographic addiction in itself is a vice which ruins socialization and the development of healthy relationships, by creating an urgent desire that makes things feel weird. Pornographic enslavement problems have been discussed in the reviews of the movies Biology 101 and YES, GOD, YES.
  • Addictive Enslavement
Donna (Winona Ryder) enters Bob's (Keanu Reeves) house before the guys arrive, and arouses suspicions from the guys because they find an unfinished marijuana smoke in the living room before she alerts them of her presence. When asked if she was the one smoking, she answers, 'yes, or else I can't ever sleep'.
Let us put that statement in proper perspective; How does one who has slept peacefully for more than 20 years of their life, suddenly decide they can never sleep without using, due to a habit started less than 5 years ago? The battle to be free from addiction starts in the mind and every drug addict who intends to be free needs to become conscious of affirmative statements.

The reality of drug abuse problems is reflected in the shabby nature of the house in this movie, the low-life lazy idleness of hanging around all day with no specific ambition or purpose. Just a daily dose of hazy dreamy feelings about a future of wealth and abundance without any drive to actually achieve any of it, or at worst having a criminal intention to short cut life's troubles. This stark reality of hard drug addiction is a far cry from the affluent images of ritz and glamor used to promote drug use.
The dangers and problems of drug abuse have been discussed in the reviews of Four Good Days, The Dry, The Survivalist, Spring Breakers, and Jailbait
