Alice (Megan Fox) is an Ai that develops a rogue personality which leads to mayhem. The movie throws light on societal imbalance, the problem with Ai, and other important lessons for humanity. Thank you as you join us this week to uncover the life lessons and morals from this beautiful movie. Read on.

  • Robotic slaves
Odd as it may sound but this movie portrays its antagonist, Alice (Megan Fox) and other Ais as humanlike robotic slaves who only obey. In the perspective of this blog, to only obey is one of the tenets of bond entrapment and enslavement systems which have ruined love and our society in general. The lure of a better life filled with sexual pleasure and vanity is often replaced with a reality of enslavement and a bond to be happy with being enslaved. So our women smile and giggle when their being humiliated and ridiculed and the ignorant men happily pay to see them enslaved. In other to ensure this happiness the bond masters ensure that there's suffering in the world, so that those who are under bonds wouldn't be jealous or upset that others enjoy the good things of life without having to be obedient slaves. Where are we heading with all these self-deceit? Our development is tied to freewill and the ability to express our talents and skills in diverse ways. Our world could be a much better happy place for everyone.

  • Lay offs
Workers at Nick's construction site are laid off and replaced with Ai. This helps to portray the imbalance in our world and the associated problems of technology and unemployment. There has been a lot of layoffs from the big tech companies as more automation tools are invented and deployed. Ai is meant to make our lives easier, but it has to be a complementary tool, not a substituting one. The problem with Ai coming as a substitute resulting in job loss is deeply rooted in the foundations of enslavement and entrapment on which our society is based. The imbalance of society creates the dependencies, and the independent in search of more gain neglect the dependent resulting in more imbalance. It is important to work towards a balanced society.  To ensure that the general populace are ready to withstand the inconveniences of deploying new systems. Social planning and economic balance are important tools in our world, tools we definitely shouldn't neglect.

  • Double-standards
Nick (Michele Morrone) complains about workers being replaced by Ai, and Alice reminds him that he also choose her as a help instead of a human maid. This is one of the many issues that have been raised in previous movie reviews on our blog including Mona Lisa Smile, Honey Don't, and Mother. Like the Christian saying, take the log out of your own eye before complaining about the splinter in another's eye. It is however really difficult to reject things that lead to imbalance in society. For example, businesses that don't meet up with Ai revolution would fall behind and lose profit and market share and might ultimately become bankrupt. Men who stand against the entrapment and enslavement of women would never get the fruit of love and end up being worse slaves themselves. Its not a one person battle, its a decision we all have to make. We hope this blog throws reasonable light on the issues we need to solve.

  • Responsibility
Sometimes taking care of someone means doing things they don't like. Those were the words of Maggie (Madeline Zima) to Alice when they first meant in the hospital. She was asking Alice to help control Nick's Alcoholic tendencies. There are many instances in life, where taking responsibility might appear like a challenge or a pain to someone. For example; trying to control your kids access to games or mobile phones so they can pay attention to their education or limiting finance available for a drug addict to limit their access to drugs.
Furthermore, in regards to this website's theme, there are many who hate the truths we reveal on this blog, but they are also ultimate beneficiaries of the better world we hope to achieve. Responsibility goes beyond friendship or camaraderie. Responsibility is towards the greater good of everyone. This website is a responsibility that goes beyond friendship or personal gain.
  • Don't be too nice
In solidarity, Nick accompanies Monty to vandalize the site where they both work before Monty was laid off. Although, Nick covers for Monty when he is accused due to the use of his personal password, Monty still blames and fights with Nick for being found out. Don't be too nice because some friends are really toxic and unappreciative people. Some people are manipulative bigots whose sole purpose is to destabilize your sanity or stance and make you feel uncomfortable or inadequate. Such people are agents of the system of wrongness and it requires a high level of assertiveness to ward them off. Don't be too nice, drive away people who ruin you systematically.

  • Vulnerabilities in Dependencies
In the closing scenes we witness the shutdown of services under the control of Ai after the program was corrupted. This helps showcase how humanity could become really vulnerable if there's too much dependency on Ai and automations. There are many sci-fi movies with instances of rogue Ai who became a threat to humanity. Therefore, we should heed these warnings and ensure that like 'democracy' there are proper systems for checks and balances. Let our inventions be an aid not a replacement, at least not while there are families depending on the jobs. Lets be responsible!

  • Family is Society
Although Alice's rogue nature is developed from the simple home of Nick, the corruption in her programming ultimately erupts to affect the entire system. This helps to symbolize that every problem in society is deeply rooted in the family or upbringing of those responsible for these problems. Every problem in the world stems from families. The entrapped and enslaved along with their masters are products of families. Mother's cure your children we plead in our review of the movie 'No Escape'. However, in reality like we previously mentioned it is difficult, because most mothers want to train their kids in a way that they can be superior in society. Kings train their princes to be bossy and stand aloof while the subjects are stepped on. Mothers train their sons to be strong defenders that would gain the fruits of love. The opposite of what should be is what we tend to strive for, because no one wants to be on the losing side. But if you have been following our blog, then you'd understand that a loss for one is ultimately a loss to all of us, because everyone has a contribution to the proper flow in our human race journey.
We also mentioned the problem with dysfunctional families in our review of the movie Rob Zombie's Halloween
