Just like the title of the book implies, no one bears your burden like you do so make sure you're doing what gives you the most joy. Develop a thick skin to pressure especially peer pressure, life is not a race because there's no ending unless it all ends. So try your best living it in the best way that suits your personality because what you were created to do is what the world needs from you. We are a reincarnating specie, you've already been born in many places in this world. Your reincarnation doesn't depend on your physical presence. Our priority should be towards building a better world and living our best life according to the divine programming imbibed in our DNA.
- What We Really Want
Paola shifts from awkward first dates in public settings to visiting Henry's house on a first time. She almost chokes when she mistakes Henry's mother's reference to his huge heart for a huge cock. - Take Precautions
While growing up there was a program on radio or TV where the presenter's first statement was always 'Do you know where your family members are at the moment'? This movie buttresses the importance of that statement as Paola ends up in a den with her life hanging on a thread. Well, welcome to your new relationship Mademoiselle, because the online Henry turns out to be a cross between a Gargoyle, Prince Adam (Beauty and the Beast), Frankenstein, and Quasimodo (Hunchback of Notre dame). This is a lesson that we should be cautious about our affairs. There are family members who never go out without sending the cab number to a family WhatsApp chat group or the address of where their going. However, a lot of this depends on openness overcoming shame and discrimination.
In reality, most of us engage in activities we don't want everyone to know about. Most of us have skeletons in our cupboard, especially ones related to sexual desires. Politicians have lost their social standings because of it, teachers have been kicked out of school because of it and most importantly, albeit painfully, the systems of entrapment and enslavement preys on it. I amaze myself on how many things I know without actually experiencing or witnessing them. For example, I know that most mothers know which systems their daughters are enslaved to. In fact the system presents itself to mothers as the way of protecting their daughters from unfortunate experiences like the one shown in this movie. So we can't really blame our mothers because they also passed through the same process and moreover, no mother would want her daughter to be a victim to the system. Even though they know its wrong and their not happy about it. The default human trait is to chose the lesser of two evils. In this sense, this blog isn't a challenge to the system, its an eye opener to everyone because everyone has a role to play in the realignment of our wrongness into the right path of proper sustainable balance. Nothing is impossible don't write off my effort, because nothing meaningful to our human race has been achieved through violence.
- The Monster You See
Well, Henry is monstrous but is he the monster? As it turns out in this movie, Henry's mother is the brain and motivation behind his evil deeds. How many of us suspect, blame, or accuse the wrong person, circumstance, or situation for our unfortunate experiences. Sometimes the real monsters aren't monstrous, and its important to maintain an objective mind in certain upsetting situations. During my time in the church while I was still religious, I witnessed many situations where people got delivered from tormenting dreams which showed a different face than the evil person behind the torment.
Wrongly suspecting someone or something for torments or upsetting experiences could lead to psychological breakdown and bad mental health. We should learn to be objective in our approach to things and identify vices, situations, and habits that hamper our prosperity and happiness rather than being suspicious. Just like we mentioned in our review of the movie 'No Escape' do not follow the bandwagon but listen to your self and do things that you prefer.
- The Calming Music
Henry's rage is made calm by smooth gentle music. This is an allegory to life and the importance of music in our world. I have had countless sleepless nights were only music could calm my mind and put me to sleep. Most people relax and unwind in public or private places to the sounds of music. So how did music start and what was its true purpose in the beginning of time. In terms of our view on the entrapment and enslavement of angelic women and men or the exploitation of feminine sexuality as a meanings of mental control and enslavement of the masses, it becomes obvious that the feminism preached by celebs and the 'humiliating nudity' or 'nude walk of shame' performed by the same celebs is rather contradictory.
If music's true purpose is to calm our madness, who then is mad? Is it me? Is it the system of entrapment that enslaves women in their own community because they still harbor past life feelings of war or the bonded spiritual differences between the angelic and demonic aspects of our creative source? Is it the women who are being humiliated and call it freedom? Is it our mothers, who give their daughters out in regret but yet console them with an encouragement to enjoy it? Is it Men or Women who are mad?
My confusion has been cured or greatly reduced by knowledge and hidden messages in movies, music, and other art forms. So I know music helps and provides direction in our affairs, it is a cure to our madness and a reflection of the current state of things in our world.
According to William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, 'if music be the food of love play on', for I want to fall in love all over again.
