Marvel at arms that deflect flying vehicles, bullet proof skin, and gravity defying stunts. Its another dose of the usual from Marvel, although slightly less satisfying than the major blockbusters. Did you take a moment to observe life lessons or any morals from this movie? There's always a moral to learn from every story, because even superheroes aren't exempted from the lessons of life. Read on for the life lessons hidden in this action fantasy. Thank you.

  • The Repeating Cycles of Life
Sci-fi movies are almost like prophecy. Either they challenge and guide scientist to invent their imagined technology or they predict future inventions. Imagined Technology from movies that where termed sci-fi in the 80s and 90s have long been invented. Some have even been outdated and replaced. In this movie, Thunderbolts, we see high tech combat technology and bio-enhancements in display.
The human brain powers and controls all the body's functions like a CPU, sending and receiving messages in unfathomable speed through nerves. One day, our scientist would reach the level of creating bio-enhancements that can help the disabled and greatly improve physical abilities. Or have they already done all this in the past?
The 'Past Future Life' is a major topic of this blog, it is discussed in the movie reviews of The Hunger Games, and Archenemy. It is also a major topic in our eBook titled 'Twelve Sisters and Twelve Planets'. Our world occurs in repeating cycles, and just like in academics, there's a reason why we are failing and have to repeat. This is the major purpose of all the contents on this website, to correct the balance of things and ensure a harmonious growth that would prevent a repeat of the great fall. If you have any questions or need further clarification leave a comment and we would respond ASAP.

  • A Leopard Never Loses Its Spots
As is common with Spy movies, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine betrays her agents by setting them against each other. In the ensuring carnage, a new mutant is discovered and recruited by Valentina. However, the same story unfolds because a leopard never loses its spots. As soon as Bob exerts his independence and freedom to act, Valentina becomes threatened by the fact that she can't control him and she turns her guns against him.
Time and time again, people have fallen for the same ruse, the same crocodile tears of pretended remorse. The abusive spouse who only lost his mind because he was drunk, the betraying friend who was just having a prank, the slutty girlfriend who didn't really know what she was doing, or the drug addict who only needed a little fix (Just like in the movie 'Four Good Days'). People don't change and like in the saying 'Fool me once shame on you, but fool me twice, then shame on me', its important to not expect people to change or else you'd end up disappointed.
Someone who betrays his friend for your sake, is likely to betray you for some other reward. However, don't mistake this for a false sense of solidarity. For example, if someone's dealing hard drugs in your vicinity, and you think its solidarity to let them continue. That's just a false sense of solidarity, because its an activity that would end up affecting you or your family members directly or indirectly. Drug addiction can ruin an entire community and make it unpleasant for even clean people. Drug addiction can be so bad, it'd ruin the value of real estate. Don't fall for the false sense of solidarity.

  • Don't Become What You Complain About
Bob finally gets to fight himself as he tries to cure the scourge he had created. In his mad rage he only makes things worse and almost ruins it all, till he is restrained by Yelena. Just like we acknowledged in the movie review of The Villainess, 'Don't be a kettle calling the pot black'. As Martin Luther King Jr. once said; "Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that".
We are not perfect, none of us are. However, we all need to make reasonable efforts in the right direction. Be cautious of the non-violent resistance movement that ultimately leads to social unrest and unpredictable violence and pay more attention to the development of self. Like the great Mahatma Gandhi acknowledged; "If you want to change the world, start with yourself".

  • The All-Powerful Delusion
Bob's destructive alter ego emerges following his betrayal and under a god-like delusion of superiority, he proceeds to blacken the entire New York City into nothingness. Its not really strange to human nature, is it? Our history is filled with tyrants with an urge to conquer the world or at least their continent including, Hitler, Genghis Khan, the Romans, and Alexander. The all-powerful delusion or the god-like delusion almost always ends with a sad story. The oversight on the part of the conqueror that we are mere mortals with an expiring date on our physical bodies. However, we are perpetual beings reborn through reincarnation sequences and some of these conquerors actually honestly thought they could bring order to the chaos of humanity. Violence only beget violence and true progress or correction only comes from peace and an inward look rather than an outward blame.

You didn't think your fantasy action blockbusters were this meaningful, did you? I hope you had a good time reading through and you enjoy watching the movie. Its really nice, although a bit predictable, but its action sequences are still stunning.
