Hidden meanings in Film noir: CONCUSSION (2013) - In the secret escort service...

Abby's sojourn as an escort is quite revealing. Read on for hidden life lessons in this movie.

  • The abnormality
Abby takes a blow to the head which results in a concussion. The blow to the head related to her decisions to become an escort is used to symbolize the abnormality of selling women. She uses her first set of customers who appear to be minors as a symbolic reference to the underaged nature of first time sexual entrapment.

  • The sneaky cheat
Abby leads a double life as an escort after having patronized one, much unknown to her same sex partner. Just like we reviewed in the movie 'Her side of the Bed' and 'The Guest House', same sex relationship is not a guarantee for relationship or marital bliss. Humans will always be humans, imperfect. In every relationship we should seek the most joy for ourselves rather than expecting a perfect partner, and we should equally learn to fix things rather than look for solutions in inappropriate means.

  • The subtle talk
The subtle method of initiation into sexual entrapment and enslavement is symbolized by Abby's co-worker, who talks her into becoming an escort. Well, in reality most young women have been given the subtle talk. An innocent approach that disguises the true nature of compulsory degradation of women as a means of destroying love. The price for the destruction of love is way more unfathomable than the monetary revenue both escorts and pimps make.

  • In satiable human nature
Some of Abby's customers are quite hungry in their approach to sex. The numerous customers with various needs help symbolize dissatisfaction or insatiable human nature. As we all seek to fill a void that can be filled by nothing else but emotional love. Even in X-rated online videos, the extent some of our sex artists go to fulfill their passions is quite unimaginable to the feeble mind e.g. Godzilla looking dildos, 100 to 1 gangbangs, and extreme BDSM practices. The void has been created by the destruction of love, the unnatural sexual practices only worsen the feelings of emptiness.

  • Its humiliating
Yea, yea, yeah, we are going to mention the humiliating nudity of angelic women again. Nudity is one of the method used by the systems of cheating and entrapment for the destruction of love and the enslavement of the angelic. While we like to promote nudity as sexual freedom, it is actually quite the opposite. If it wasn't humiliating then Abby won't be disturbed that a woman from her neighborhood requested for her services. Even though they still got their shag on, it goes to show that its actually quite inappropriate, so we should be careful with accepted norms promoted, especially online trends.

  • The Punishing love
Abby does get a few rough ones. Customers who use brutality to symbolize the wrongness or inappropriateness of what she's doing. A sought of punishment for illicit practice. The punishing love, is a sarcastic statement because love is quite different from pain. Anything painful or punishment therefore isn't love. The claim that love is wicked, or love is pain is misguided because you only get pain when you lose love and if you lose love, then it never was truly love. For love lost, isn't love. Lets not give love a bad name because the reality is that we have refused to overcome the lies and bonds that were made against love and lovers. We have failed to progress beyond the prehistoric and primitive feud between the angelic and demonic, because the demonic still symbolize their enemies with the angelic by making a mockery of angelic women and enslaving angelic men.
