Rachel and Amy strike and unconventional bond. Read on for hidden meanings and life lessons in this movie.
- The push-off
The movie starts off with a break-up between Rachel and her boyfriend. Her boyfriend subtly acknowledges all the time they had spent together and asks her to be consoled by memories, contrary to her Dad's opinion that she was too good for him. Too good for him, even though she thought she was having a good time. Our reality is a delusion, sometimes we mistake pain for pleasure and exploitation for friendship. The push-off is a situation most young women find themselves after having years of rendezvous with the system. A system that is designed to exploit young women in the pretense of being fun-loving. If you're just joining us, you are welcome to read the other articles and eBooks on this website (filmnoir.ca) for more understanding on the systems of exploitation that has spoilt the balance of our world by cheating the angelic.
- The music is sad
Amy ask's Rachel to play her a song on the piano, and the tone is sad. As was described in the last article for the movie 'Her side of the Bed', Music is an expression of our true reality, our inner feelings revealed in chords and sequences. Rachel's music was sad, like the truth behind the destruction of love, our world is increasingly becoming sad, although we are supposed to be finding things easier due to technology and education. Rachel's music does progress to a more joyful and hopeful tone as she gains appreciation and companionship with Amy.
- Parachute bras
Yeah, nudity, the humiliating nudity is once again used in this movie as a symbol of love's destruction. A trend we hallucinate as freedom is actually the acknowledgment of entrapment and enslavement for the destruction of love. Just like the other movies on this blog, the Archangelic human vessels of Michaela and Gabriela are also personified in Amy and Rachel and in similar fashion their nudity is a basic requirement for stardom.
- Selflove and friendship
Amy's friendship helps Rachel overcome her hurt and the girls go on a fun trip of self-love. The obvious result is a round of tailoring, the usual scissors championships. Like we have noted in other articles for movies like 'Carmilla', 'Two in the bush', and 'Her side of the bed', same sex relationships arose out of the void created by the destruction of conventional love between a man and a woman. The destruction of love is based on a demonic tenet bond system of entrapment and enslavement of angelic human vessels.
- Virginity
On a fun trip and a video taped interview, Rachel confesses to have lost her virginity at the age of 16. Like most young women, virginity is usually lost during the early teenage years, yet our legal system claim that sex is illegal before the age of 18. Many angelic, including notable celebs have been arraigned in court and jailed for having sex with a minor. In reality, our judicial and legal systems can be confusing and sometimes what the systems aims to checkmate is obscure. Many young women have been recruited into the systems of defence, which promote the sexual entrapment and enslavement of love through indecent exposure, nudity, dirty dancing or stripping, and illicit sex affairs. All at an age considered illegal by the judicial systems. Let us try to ensure that our systems do not promote imbalance in the world by discriminating or exploiting the vulnerability of Angelic human vessels.
- Self-discovery over societal norms
Rachel opens up to Amy about being pressured by her dad to attend business school just like he did. Societal norms and expectations from parents always seem to push young adults towards professional careers according to expected social norms. While its important to ensure the financial security of your kids, its also important to ensure that they are pursuing professions or careers that align with their personality and innate skills. Unnecessary pressure leads to depression especially when the subject finds it hard to cope with the requirements.
- The drawback friend
Jason stumbles in on the girls making out in a hot tub to demand for his phone, and ends up revealing that the marijuana pipe belongs to him. Hard drugs that inhibit our potentials seem to be a basic friend add-on these days, don't you think? Friends who come into your life, get the best of your youth, then leave you addicted to substances that would prevent you from reclaiming your star or purpose. Substances that inhibit your potentials. Such friends are specially placed on the paths of unsuspecting innocents and always appear to be the most exciting and fun loving people they have ever meant. Beware the friend, who only seeks to put you in a cage disguised as freedom.
- Heartbreaks go both ways
Rachel's dad storms in on the girls still in bed after a round of scissors competition. Rachel is heartbroken by the revelation of Amy's affair with her dad. Well, we guess heartbreaks are also available in same sex relationships. Same sex or conventional, humans are humans and we are not perfect beings. In fact we are fundamentally flawed. Nothing is perfect, our imperfection is an expression of our humanity for we are not androids. We should learn to fix things and iron out our misunderstandings just like Rachel and Amy have a good heart-to-heart talk after the incident.
