Hidden meanings in Film Noir: WINTER'S BONE (2010) - A conspiracy of silence

• Relegated rights 
  'Never ask for what ought to be offered', Ree replies to her little brother who asked about begging for food. To some this statement might sound proud but in reality, too much power has been given to the system. A system that is also bonded to wrongness would equally worsen your pain if you come asking for favors. Never ask for what ought to be offered, indeed! For your rights are your rights. In many hotels rooms, like some online evidence provides, you'd hear young screaming for mercy as they get harvested by painful unrealistic gangbangs. Mercy indeed! The guys would only get more excited because first of all, an angelic woman shouldn't be permitting such occurrences especially when the angelic guys are bonded to be cheated. We have given too much rights to the system. 

• One family 
  'We are all one family', 'Some of our blood at least is the same'. These are statements Ree uses as she seeks for help within the county. These statements indirectly acknowledge the oneness of humanity, the common goal of building the physical aspect of our eternal journey. 

• A conspiracy of silence 
  Ree represents a woman in distress and she faces an entire community unwilling to aid her struggles. Unwilling to even point her in the right direction. Love is in distress, but are we all still bonded to the conspiracy of silence. Mostly likely yes. The conspiracy of silence is evident in the ways things have gone astray. It is evident in the occurrences of jungle justice, and the occurrences of suicide from broken hearts around the world. For if there is a system, then why are there still fools. One argument is that no one really likes the system. If so, then don't encourage it, don't promote it, and don't let it thrive on account of your silence. 

• Misdirection
  Ree gets misdirected to an exploded drug house. She figures out that she's being manipulated and scuttles off. Yes, in the midst of the struggles to fix things, regardless of the wrongs, pain and suffering the innocent have faced, some people will still come forward with the misdirected pretense of a solution. How did we become so self-centered. The system, that's how. We promoted wrongness so much that it became the right way of doing things. The innocent suffer unjustly, while everyone keeps silent. 

• Intimidation
  Ree gets beat up for seeking the truth, and indirectly placed under a code of silence. Just like in reality, those whose sanity are destroyed by the wrong system of things, those who seek redress and correction usually become bonded by duress to support the wrongs. We are all living in one huge pot of blackmail. What do we aim to achieve? Those who think power, luxury, and prestige are worth the sustenance of wrongs are myopic and gravely misguided. To put this in proper perspective, imagine the size of the earth compared to the 12 planet solar system, then extrapolate this to the milky way galaxy, and then the entire cosmos. Do you still feel like we are supposed to live in lack and scarcity? Certainly not! We just lost direction, and direction is what this blog seeks to correct. 

• Brutal gory 
  To ensure she retains the house for her siblings, Ree has provide evidence of her father's demise, contrary to his suspected abscond. Ree faces the gory task or ripping the hands off her father's dead body. Brutality and gore are enslaving mechanisms used to ensure secrecy and silence. Everyone is afraid of being treated like the person they saw who messed up. Who messed up? Who really messed up? Is it the innocent fools? Is it the truly wise who try to restore the world? Regardless, of how little their effort. We all messed up. Those who take advantage, those afraid, those silent, and those who judge ignorantly. Every little counts. If you can't help then at least don't get in the way of those who are trying to help. In fact, shame on you if you can contribute any level of effort to seeing your own women free from the unjust practices of the system. 

• Insensitivity 
  In a world so bonded to wrongness, a child seeks her fathers arms to retain the family house while his murdered corpse rots in a shallow swamp. She makes a great sacrifice to protect her siblings. Her life was at risk from talking, but it still gives a cruel feeling of the current state of our humanity. If you think humanity hasn't grown cruel, you can check BDSM practices on google or porn sites. You would see how cruel our world is!!!
