Hidden meanings in Film Noir: THE TRUE STORY OF THE NUN OF MONZA (1980) - Somethings belong to the past

Published on 27 October 2024 at 15:04

The true story of the nun of Monza starring Zora Kerova as Sister Virginia, examines the destruction of love by pain and punishment. A sadistic practice which should belong to the pages of the history books but unfortunately is still in practice today through modern formats like BDSM, Sadomasochism, painful body arts and piercings. Here are some hidden meanings you didn't notice in the movie.

  • The burden of beauty
Sister Virginia epitomizes the beauty of youth in young girls and she is unduly punished for receiving sexual advancements from men. Her religious order in this perspective is used to represent the system of entrapment and enslavement of women, and religion thus, acts as the tool through which her love is destroyed by pain and punishment. In reality, do you ever wonder how women and men who engage in BDSM practices like bondage, whipping, and submission accept to be used like that? The system is religious, like a religion behind the normal religious practices, and the women are bonded to obedience without regards.

  • The enslavement of the angelic
Sister Virginia also represents angelic women who are bonded under a system that's based on demonic tenets inherited from undocumented prehistoric and primitive times. Her humiliation and punishments symbolizes the burden of angelic essence vessels in modern times especially sexual enslavement and bond entrapments. Surely somethings belong to the past and we should let go of practices that threaten the balance of our world.

  • Wickedness misconstrued for purification
Sister Virginia is whipped, painful bonded with spikes, burned with candle wax. and publicly humiliated in a mock attempt to rid her of sexual desires. In reality, sexual desires is a fundamental aspect of human and animal nature. The woman was created weak or flexible to enable her effectively carry out the task of procreation (Pregnancy and child bearing), but under the promise that the man would not oppress or take advantage of her. Therefore, these sadistic practices of punishments and pain inflicted on harmless and helpless women is totally against the plan of creation, and the effect on our world (Pain, poverty, wars, and suffering) is very obvious to those who care. There needs to be a fundamental shift in the mental programming which makes women accept punishment when they have done nothing wrong. There needs to be an awakening of men who are willing to reject the system of demonic bonds and practices which gratify the discrimination of the female gender.

  • The classic set-up
Sister Virginia is set-up for being promiscuous due to enviousness of her beauty and rank. She's then humiliated and raped as punishment. As she's been raped the signs of brutality converts into seductive moans and pleasure. In reality, the entrapment of young girls follows this same process of being set-up through various means including; caught in the act of lesbianism, masturbation, prostitution, or other sexual activity, sometimes an agent of the system in the form of a friend is used to achieve this purpose. A supposed punishment is then melted out to the girls which translates to enslavement to the system. Many young girls have been given a symbolic initiation rape and asked afterward 'if they didn't enjoy it?'. In reality, sex is supposed to be a pleasurable activity and they would enjoy it even if it was done by an uninitiated 'fool'. So the idea of asking a raped young girl 'if she didn't enjoy it?' is just a trick to promote the acceptance of a wrong system.

  • Deceitful love
Sister Virginia is deceived by her lover who set her up. He pretends to offer his life to her in atonement but in reality the dagger he presents is a trick device that won't harm him even if she accepts to kill him with it. In a similar vein, our young women who are offered for sale to the system by men who pretend to love them are completely deceived. A willingness to fight or being violent isn't a yardstick for determining the extent of love. Many young girls have been mockingly made trap queens and stripped naked on strip club stages under the pretense of lovers who are willing to die for her sake. This is pure deceit used solely for the benefit of money.

Somethings belong to the past and should never come up again in our history. This is Film Noir, exposing the stark and painful truths about humanity.
