99 moons starring Valentina Di Pace as Bigna, is about sexual entrapment in the guise of romance. It presents casual sex as casual rather than the entrapment that it truly is. Here are some societal themes in the movie that you might have missed!

  • Wickedness in the guise of love:
In the movie, Frank, is a weird fellow with blonde hair that doesn't match his dark moustache, and evidence of his wickedness is seen in a scene where he shuts a lady's hand with the car door, and another scene where he smacks a girl in the ass at a party. These might appear to be innocent mistakes but in reality most girls are suffering from the pretended innocence of their enslavers. Intentional wickedness disguise as a mistake is a strong theme in today's society, where the transparency of information threatens to checkmate the wickedness of enslavers, hence a resort to intentional accidental coincidences.

  • The enslavement of the Angelic:
Here again, like the other movies on this blog, we notice a trend of public nudity being used as a symbol of the enslavement and entrapment of Angelic girls. Sara's sexual encounter with Frank, shows that she's being displayed to the whole world as an unlovable person. In reality, the angelic women are carriers of love, and it is the bond masters who have bonded themselves to be unlovable. It is unfortunate but society is still ruled by this undeserving fellows who have turned the world into a place where only wrongness is promoted.

  • Love is forbidden:
The movies also has strong themes for no-string attached sex. As Bigna develops feelings for Frank, Frank starts to withdraw, a new girl comes searching for Frank at the apartment, and Frank replies 'Hell no', when Bigna asks if he's interested in marrying her.
You might think its just a pastime or fun activity for the women, but in reality it is in acknowledgement of the demonic tenets which declare that 'Love is forbidden'. Hence, the angelic women are bonded by the fires of entrapment and enslavement practices like sex, humiliation, and punishments are used to fulfill the tenets of the system. There must be a change or our world would perish!!!

  • No woman is free:
Bigna is portrayed as a responsible woman with a good career as a scientific researcher, but her enslavement to Frank's sexual depravity serves to show that no woman is free from the problems of the demonic tenets. Don't be fooled by the sarcastic portrayal of Bigna as a Nymph who arranges for sex with strangers, because its just a misdirection from the truth of bond enslavement. You can tell by the tears in her eyes!
Don't get it twisted duo, because sexual freedom is quite different from sexual bondage. A woman free would give love free, and not be bonded to humiliating practices.

  • The use of commandments and mind programming:
It is quite shocking but its true. The human mind is capable of being programmed or commanded to react or behave in certain ways. In the movie, Bigna starts having a strong feeling of desire for Frank, but Frank is portrayed as a weird and wicked person. This serves to symbolize that women are bonded to give themselves to the undeserving.

  • Metaphors:
The masochism displayed by Bigna are actually a metaphorical representation of society. In reality the bonded nature of women is a sadistic trend that sees women put through torture, pain, and humiliation in acknowledgement of the demonic tenets of 'Love is forbidden'.

  • No benefits for the angelic:
Frank doesn't even accept to pay for the dinner he and Bigna had, instead he takes her on a shameful run to a humiliating public nudity display at a phone booth. So a scientist with a thriving career is reduced to public disgrace in a transparent phone booth. This just goes to show that the demonic don't do anything go for the angelic.

  • The blindness of fools:
Bigna accompanied by her husband runs into Frank working as a waiter in a wedding ceremony. At the wedding, the bride is portrayed to be really ugly. This serves to symbolize that fools only get the emptiness of women in marriage after the system have exploited their youth.
Bigna also gets signaled by Frank to meet at the car park, where Frank exploits her sexually, and her husband is ignorant of it all. Although, her husband comes to the car park and sees them in the car, he walks doesn't do anything. In reality, women can be signaled and most times fools get their female companion signaled and sexually exploited at public places and events. It is true that a woman on a loving date with a foolish spouse can be signaled to come receive sex in the restroom and the fool won't know what transpired.

  • Bonded adultery:
Bigna, while married, is still putting up with Frank and even tells him she is 5 weeks pregnant. Why this may look like a romantic fun activity, Frank symbolizes the wrongness of it by attempting to feed his chickens with vegetables. I mean we all know chickens only eat grains, right? Anyways, in reality there are several wives who are still under the enslaving bonds of the system, even up to the extent of having children not fathered by their rightful husbands.

  • The dying world:
Bigna fells a tree with a chainsaw to symbolize that the world is dying from the wrongness of the enslavement and entrapment of the angelic under the demonic tenets of 'the destruction of love', 'no benefits for the angelic', and the bond of 'no remorse'. In reality the angelic represent the organic aspect of creation and their demise also symbolizes the demise of the natural habitat of man which is evident today in global warming and climate change.
An earthquake rocks the hotel where Bigna and Frank are having sex in the closing scenes to also emphasize the strain that the system of wrongness has on the world.

  • Entrapped angelic:
Bigna zooms off in her car, with Frank banging on the windows, as she tries to free herself from his bonds, however she comes back searching only to meet him married with a son. Bigna then invites Frank back to her hotel room, where she strips naked and cries before his arrival. For he has become happily married but she is still tied to his entrapment. This is symbolic of women in society who are still wrongly bonded to the service of a system and can't give their true sexual pleasure to their spouse, even in ridiculous situations where the system has more than enough. It is greed at its highest manifestation.
Sexual freedom is, certainly, different from sexual bondage! Don't get it twisted!! This is Film Noir!!!
